Even though they are a shell, they are fairly warm (it wasn't super cold, but with just a base layer I was toasty warm). Didn't think the pockets would be that useful, but for holding course material they worked well. Had to size up as the target market is skinnier than me people, but it worked well. Only thing I found that is odd is that the boot gaiters are a bit of an effort to get over the boot... might be by design.. but stretchier might be better. Not sure what kind of beers Greg in the first review had but they aren't going in the pockets.
The Shelter pants are light, yet warm. They let me move freely and keep me warm on the peaks. Awesome.
Rode in this pants from February - May last season, nice and roomy so that you're not restricted in any movement also keep you looking fresh. Kept me warm and dry on the soggiest of day’s , I highly recommend these pants, the bib is also adjustable and has room for beers🍻😜
