Have only ridden 2 days on it so far... still playing with my stance position but it's ploughed through the pow so far.
The clout does what the design team set out to do - create an adaptive ride that can handle a bit of everything. It has to be ridden with a very centred to centre-back stance as the long nose with the shaping (as well as the nose being softer than the tail) mean that the balance point feels closer to the back foot. The board will carve well but it’s short effective edge limit it. The shaping helps the board pivot well is broken snow and moguls. A very fast base finishes it off. Great board. Big riders will likely overpower it as I am not that big and I am riding the largest size. I took a photo of the nose/tail shaping - this is a very significant part of the design of this board and it changes the ride dramatically. I believe Endeavour has better boards for riding groomers. I have also bought an Alpha so I will post a new review when I have had a chance to rise that deck. Covid has shut things down for a month...
Good things come in 3's: 3 kinds of fiberglass, 3 kinds of wood, 3 dimensional camber, 3rd Clout for this guy!
Endeavor Clout X Brent Comber Snowboard
I spent far too long looking into a board that could act as my quiver killer, all-around mountain carver. It's not a decision I take lightly, and I compared with the best boards of the year. What I can say about the Clout is that it exceeds my expectations with aesthetics and build quality, and I cannot wait to take it out when the season begins. I can tell already from its profile it'll be a saint on the slopes.
