This board is a rocket ship on titanium rails. In the transition it literally launches you from one edge to the other.
This board is very niche, speed demons only apply.
For groomers with decent packed snow this board is just amazing. It loves to charge down the mountain with reckless abandon.
As soon as there is like more than 2 inches of powder, swap to your all mountain board cuz this thing just digs trenches...its not meant to float is meant to zoom and it does that very well
Im 5'9 180 lbs with 8.5 Shoe size and i own the 158
Very aggressive board, has a lot of kick to it and it speeds down a groomed trail super fast, and carving feels so natural on it. Big emphasis on the groomed though. This board seriously excels at being able to speed down a hill when conditions are nice, snow is crisp and solid. The board is super stiff so it really springs back at you when you're carving down the hill. However, as it is the nature of the board's build, it is very difficult to try to freestyle due to the stiffness, making presses near impossible. Definitely a great board to keep on the side for when you want to shred down the hill though! Would absolutely recommend, just know what you're getting yourself into.
