Description

The Pioneer is designed for advanced riders who demand performance in across the mountain. With a directional shape, blunted nose, traditional tail and multi camber profile it performs in all conditions. Our lighter weight core is blended with half Phonon Pre-Tension Fibreglass and half Oak Wood Veneer topsheet, an innovation in snowboard construction that harnesses elastic energy through continuous lamination, supercharging the board’s ‘pop’. Construction is streamlined by combining carbon and fiberglass with resin, eliminating the need for the traditional plastic topsheet and UV Lacquer. The result is a super lightweight and powerfully reactive board built with less materials. Finished off with our Smoothride Sidewalls to cut down on chatter and you'll always be the first to clear the path for your crew.

Due to the unique manufacturing process of the wood veneer and Phonon Topsheet, subtle variations and imperfections in finish may occur which give these boards their unique character. The wood veneer on this board has been manufactured without a plastic topsheet protecting it as we felt feeling the wood and the riding characteristic was essential to keep. As such, the veneer can be maintained for longevity by applying a natural wood oil coating, we recommend Osmo Polyx®-Oil.

Graphic Inspiration

Born in Denmark, Niels Bendtsen has always been immersed in design and craftsmanship. After emigrating in 1951 to Canada, Bendtsen began an apprenticeship under his father, a cabinetmaker who worked under Jacob Kjaer. In 1963, he opened his own retail store where he sold his father's designs, as well as other pieces from Scandinavia.

Moving around the world while gaining different types of experience in the world of furniture, Bendtsen started his own manufacturing company, Bensen, combining Italian craftsmanship with contemporary designs. Along with his staff, Bendtsen designs and oversees production on every piece.

Niels was one of the founders of Never Snowboards (later changed name to Option Snowboards) who Endeavor founder Max Jenke was first sponsored by but also worked during the summers sanding top sheets and screen printing.

    Replacement snowboard for the win!

Broke my new board on the first day riding due to a construction defect but Endeavor was amazing and replaced the board within a week and no time lost on the hill. My new board is amazing and is one of the best boards I have ever rode on. Switched it to the Endeavor Pioneer Legacy model and it is a total beast. If you are reading this review to help with your purchase decision, let me make this easy for you. Buy the board. Great products, great company. You will not be disappointed!
