We have recently collaborated with Vans on their Looking Sideways project to create a series of 10 unique snowboards, creating products that meld art with lifestyle. The Looking Sideways project has had popup art galleries all over Europe helping to exhibit some of the best art in the snowboarding world.
They recently called upon members of the public to submit images of their own eyes looking sideways which would be used on the final gallery in Mayrhofen. These images were used to create a giant collage with an overlay created by artists Ed Templeton, Schoph and Blaise Rosenthal along with Looking Sideways' Artistic Director Owen Tozer.

Looking Sideways reached out to us to translate the collage into a series of amazing snowboard graphics. When asked why he chose Endeavor Tozer's answer was simple: "From the start we knew we wanted to turn the mural into a set of unique snowboards, and we had a feeling it would be the kind of creative project that would suit the guys at Endeavor Snowboards." Our history of working with high profile and emerging artists for graphics featured on our snowboards made us the obvious choice. That and the fact that we have our in house lab in Vancouver meant we could monitor every aspect of the production.
When the show finished the collage was carefully dismantled and shipped to our office where we could translate it into topsheet graphics. The boards were all specced up and Jason got to work hand building all 10 of the unique snowboards.

The result of the project is 10 of the best looking boards we've ever produced. We are super stoked on how everything turned out with the project and are incredibly happy to have been a part of this. The limited run of 10 boards are going to be super difficult to get hold of with most of them going out to winners chosen from those who sent in images of their eyes for the project.
